The Bharatiya Kisan Sangh ward committee for Kuruvattur Panchayat was formed, along with the inauguration of the Kisan Samriddhi Yojana. The event took place at Poloor C.Y. Hall, presided over by Purushothaman.

The inauguration was conducted by Adv. K.V. Narayanan, followed by a keynote address by state organizational secretary Muraleedharan. He emphasized that although several schemes exist for farmers, the accessibility of these benefits remains limited. He also stated that farmers could gain more advantages collectively rather than applying for benefits individually, highlighting the need for unity.

Bharatiya Kisan Sangh district president N.V. Balakrishnan, retired district judge Krishnankutty, U.P. Mohanan, Dr. Prakashan, Vasu Vattimunda, and C. Sreedharan also spoke at the event.
